October 3rd- Creating a Vision for Library Space Planning, with guest speaker Scott Bennett welcomed over 30 participants from public, academic, and medical libraries.
Mr. Bennett filled the presentation with thought-provoking exercises which questioned attendees to examine how space is used in libraries. The day’s activities ranged from trying to convince a skeptical Trustee (convincing played by Scott) for investment in physical library space to a discussion on the function and manner of the reference desk.
