LILRC Hosts Its First Technical Services Open Forum

On Friday, October 3, 2014, the LILRC Resource Sharing and Management Committee held its first Technical Services Open Forum, which provided attendees with a panel discussion on emerging trends in the Technical Services field.

The program began with an introductory overview on current professional developments and hot topics in library technical services and was followed by brief presentations from a panel of experts who discussed their experiences with such things as migrating a library to a cloud-based integrated library system (ILS) and implementing a discovery platform.
